Round 1 Teddy chips away at Smith with a series of kicks to the legs. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Smith receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Teddy Cherry. Cherry lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Cherry attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Seth pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Smith eats a stiff kick to the face. Smith eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Teddy Cherry. Seth is met with a strong kick to the ribs. Seth Smith attempts a takedown, but cannot finish it. Teddy Cherry takes advantage of the moment taking side control.Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 A jab from Seth is blocked and a cross is returned by Cherry. Teddy Cherry circles Seth Smith, mixing jabs and leg kicks. After dodging a jab-cross, Cherry lands a kick to the liver of Seth Smith who steps back and begins to take a knee. Cherry rushes forward to capitalize but Seth Smith stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Seth Smith attempts to clinch, but Teddy connects with an uppercut to the jaw. Teddy lands a hook to the body then a straight cross to the sternum. The fighters circle each other. After dodging a jab, Teddy lands a kick to the ribs of Smith who winces in pain. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Teddy escapes the clinch and creates some distance. A jab from Teddy Cherry is blocked and a cross is returned by Seth Smith. Seth snaps back the head of Teddy Cherry with a stiff jab. A shot from Cherry is countered by a guillotine from Seth Smith. Cherry follows through with a slam that stuns Seth Smith. Cherry lands multiple hammerfists, putting Seth Smith to sleep.
