Round 1 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Hayden gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. Gregory Hayden dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Dallas standing over him. Dallas Sherk drops a huge strike to Haydens chin, landing into his guard. Gregory Hayden lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Sherk tries to pass guard but Gregory Hayden stops him with a well timed punch. Gregory Hayden lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Gregory Hayden shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Gregory parries Sherks jab and connect with a cross. Gregory Hayden is hit with a jab and then taken down with a strong trip takedown. Gregory dodges some ground strikes from Dallas Sherk, and sends a few back of his own. Dallas Sherk attempts to drop bombs while caught in the guard, but Hayden takes the chance to switch Dallas Sherk over to mount him. Sherk shifts his head and hips to keep Gregory Hayden off balance and unable to land strikes. Hayden is pulled in tight, and then switched over on his back. Dallas is now caught in Gregory Haydens guard. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 A couple of powerful body shots forces Sherk back to the corner. Hayden swims to double underhooks. Sherk cannot stop Hayden from stepping back and taking him to the floor. Gregory Hayden attempts to pass Dallass guard, and does so, but receives multiple strikes in the attempt. Dallas gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Sherk starts to wiggle out of back control, Gregory Hayden lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Sherk narrowly dodges a cross from Gregory Hayden, but falls catching him in his guard. Dallas Sherk attempts a few a shots from the guard, but gets mounted for his troubles. Dallas Sherk gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Gregory peppers Dallas with several shots to the face. Hayden attempts to lock in a rear naked choke, but "Muscle Shark" rolls into to mount to cleverly avoid it. Round 3 is over.
