Round 1 Sugase circles Gabriel, landing a front snap kick that stuns him. Morales is staggered by a jab to the chin. Norio throws a kick to the midsection of Gabriel. Norio Sugase strikes with a straight front kick. After dodging a jab, Norio lands a kick to the liver of Morales who steps back only to take a knee. Norio rushes forward to capitalize but Morales falls to his back to avoid the onslaught. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Morales is struck by a ball kick from Norio Sugase that opens him up for a push kick to the midsection. Norio is staggered by a jab to the chin. Norio connects with a right that puts Gabriel off balance tumbling to the mat, as Norio towers over him. Norio Sugase lays into Gabriel Moraless thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Morales does so. After dodging a jab, Sugase lands a kick to the liver of Gabriel who steps back only to take a knee. Sugase rushes forward to capitalize but Gabriel falls to his back to avoid the onslaught. A solid kick bruises the leg of Gabriel. Norio lays into Gabriel Moraless thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Gabriel does so. Norio throws a cross that easily dodged by Morales. Norio Sugase dodges a jab and throws a kick to the midsection of Morales. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Sugase lands a solid kick to the inside thigh of Morales. Gabriel circles Norio Sugase, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Morales snaps back the head of Sugase with a stiff jab. Sugase dodges a jab-cross combo from Morales and connects with a front snap kick, sending Morales stumbling backwards. Sugase lands a strong outside leg kick of Gabriel that buckles him. Sugase then switch kicks Gabriel in the skull, knocking him to the floor.
