Round 1 After dodging a jab, Parent lands a kick to the ribs of Sonny Bennett who winces in pain. Carl Parent lands a left hook, only to follow up with a strong kick to the ribs. After dodging a jab-cross, Carl Parent lands a kick to the liver of Sonny Bennett who steps back and begins to take a knee. Carl Parent rushes forward to capitalize but Sonny Bennett stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Sonny Bennett is rocked by a standing elbow strike. Parent presses forward landing a couple more strikes, but Sonny Bennett survives the onslaught with well timed blocks. Sonny lands a strong outside leg kick but is hit with a heavy counter hook. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Bennett snaps back the head of Carl Parent with a stiff jab. Bennett narrowly dodges a cross from Carl Parent, but falls catching him in his guard. Bennett goes for a kimura from the bottom, but Parent slips out at the last second. Carl presses the action while in the guard, but Bennett is able to switch him into mount. Parent shifts his head and hips to keep Bennett off balance and unable to land strikes. Carl gives his back up trying to escape the mount. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Bennett takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Sonny lands a strong outside leg kick but is hit with a heavy counter hook. Carl circles Sonny Bennett, landing jabs and crosses at will. Bennett fakes an overhand and is able to take down Carl Parent with a double ankle pick.Round 3 comes to a close.
