Round 1 A jab from Nelson is blocked and a cross is returned by Richard Boissieu. Kerry attempts a takedown, but cannot finish it. Richard takes advantage of the moment taking side control. Richard lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Kerry gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Kerry carefully protects himself from Richards strikes. Boissieu lands a series of heavy punches forcing Kerry Nelson to roll to his back, giving Boissieu mount. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Kerry ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Boissieu to the mat, and his back. Boissieu tries to explode out the backdoor but Kerry sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Boissieu falls flat to protect himself. Richard slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. Boissieu is brought to his back by a well executed takedown from Kerry Nelson. Kerry Nelson now has side control. Nelson attempts an armbar, but Richard stops the attempt. Nelson uses the oppurtunity to take mount. Kerry Nelson secures his position. Boissieu is hit with multiple punches, and taps out.
