Round 1 Red Russell parries a jab but is caught by a strong leg kick. A left high kick from Anderson keeps "Rooster" at bay. After dodging a jab-cross, Danny Anderson lands a kick to the liver of "Rooster" who steps back and begins to take a knee. Danny Anderson rushes forward to capitalize but "Rooster" stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Red Russell takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Danny Anderson dodges a jab-cross combo from Russell and connects with a front snap kick, sending Russell stumbling backwards. Danny sends Red to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Danny Anderson keeps Red Russell at a distance with some well timed jabs. Danny circles Red, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Danny keeps Red at a distance with some well timed jabs. Danny lands a strong outside leg kick that buckles Red Russell. Danny then switch kicks Red Russell on the opposing rib. Anderson lands a strong outside leg kick and follows it up with a jab-cross combo. A looping right hook from "Rooster" sends Danny Anderson to the mat.Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Danny is met with a hook cross combo that staggers him. Russell explodes with a flurry of punches. Danny is then thrown to the floor. "Rooster" drops a huge strike to Dannys chin, landing into his guard. Red Russell drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Red Russell passes through Andersons guard into mount. Danny Anderson lands a good elbow as Red Russell lowers his torso. Red Russell telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Anderson gives up his back to stop the attempt. "Rooster" attempts to lock in a rear naked choke, but Danny Anderson rolls into to mount to cleverly avoid it. Danny Anderson shifts his head and hips to keep Russell off balance and unable to land strikes. Round 3 is finished.
