Round 1 "The Freak" parries a jab but leaves himself open for an uppercut. Mendoza narrowly dodges a cross from Zeke, but falls catching him in his guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 The fighters circle each other. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Zeke King escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Zeke King starts to put on the pressure, forcing Checo back into the corner. Zeke King takes advantage and clinches. "The Freak" places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Zeke executes a sweeping throw, planting Mendoza on the mat. Checo almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. "The Freak" slides his knee across the body of Checo Mendoza and takes full mount. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Checo connects with a strong right hook. The fighters circle each other. Mendoza ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Zeke to the mat, and his back. Checo Mendoza lands a series of heavy punches forcing King to roll to his back, giving Checo Mendoza mount. Zeke shifts his head and hips to keep Checo off balance and unable to land strikes. Zeke King is hit with multiple punches, and taps out.
