Round 1 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Petersen throws a solid knee to the jaw of Brett Farmer. Andreas attempts to pull guard, but slips, putting him on the ground, and with Farmer standing over him. Farmer attempts to drop a fist on Andreas Petersen, but misses and lands in his guard. "Alpha" lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Petersen locks a triangle but "The Fury" defends well. Petersen decides to let go of the hold. "Alpha" attempts a kimura from the bottom. Farmer blocks the attempt and smothers "Alpha" who transitions to an armbar attempt. Farmer is able to defend this as well and works back into guard. Andreas Petersen backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 The fighters circle each other. Andreas Petersen presses forward and is able to jump up and grab onto "The Fury", aggressively pulling guard. Farmer drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. "Alpha" works to the butterfly guard. Brett Farmer tries to throw a punch but is off balance and "Alpha" shoots up to a standing position. The fighters circle each other. Farmer stuffs a shot from "Alpha" and hits him with an outside body shot. "Alpha" gives up on the takedown and pulls guard. "Alpha" sets in an omaplata, forcing Brett Farmer to roll through, giving "Alpha" side control. Andreas postures up and lands a couple of strong elbows to the head of Farmer. Farmer rolls away from Andreas but Andreas follows him and takes his back. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "The Fury" takes Andreas Petersens back standing. "The Fury" lands a couple of uppercuts from behind. Petersen is able to work his way back around. "Alpha" drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. "The Fury" sets a guillotine choke but "Alpha" slips out at the last moment. "Alpha" is now caught in guard. Farmer attempts to lock an omoplata, but Andreas is able to muscle his way back to the guard. Farmer attempts to lock an omoplata, but "Alpha" is able to muscle his way back to the guard. Brett Farmer connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Farmer sinks a kimura, but cannot finish. He settles for a switch into mount. The round comes to an end.
Round 4 "The Fury" takes a punch and goes to the mat, Andreas Petersen pounces into side control. "The Fury" recovers quickly. Farmer is wisely defending a kimura. Petersen attempts to take it but Farmer is having none of it, though Petersen has used the chance the slide into mount. Andreas Petersen punishes Brett Farmer with a series of strikes from the mount. Brett gives his back up trying to escape the mount. "Alpha" locks in a body triangle as he takes shots at Farmer. "The Fury" tripods up, causing "Alpha" to fall forward. As "Alpha" tries to scramble up "The Fury" lands a lunging hook, putting "Alpha" on the ground stunned. "The Fury" takes "Alphas" guard. The round comes to an end.
Round 5 Brett Farmer keeps Andreas at a distance with some well timed jabs. Brett Farmer narrowly dodges a cross from Andreas Petersen, but falls catching him in his guard. Brett attempts to lock an omoplata, but Andreas Petersen is able to muscle his way back to the guard. Brett sinks a kimura, but cannot finish. He settles for a switch into mount. Petersen pulls Brett close to avoid a flurry of strikes. Farmer is pulled in tight, and then switched over on his back. "Alpha" is now caught in "The Furys" guard.Round 5 comes to a close.
