Round 1 Javi Juarez fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Kong. Tian receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. Kong recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. Kong Tian attempts a takedown but slips, and Javi Juarez backs away. Javi Juarez is standing over Kong Tian. Javi Juarez attempts to drop a fist on Kong, but misses and lands in his guard. Juarez sits up in Kong Tians open guard and spins to an leg lock. Kong Tian is able to gator-roll out of it and make it to standing. Juarez sends Kong to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Tian begins to posture on his side. Javi lands a couple of outside hooks and Tian returns to the guard. Tian attempts to create some space from his guard, but Javi sees the opening and passes to full mount. Round 1 is over.

Javi dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Kong standing over him. Kong Tian drops a huge strike to Javi Juarezs chin, landing into his guard. Javi begins to posture on his side. Kong lands a couple of outside hooks and Javi returns to the guard. Javi connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Kong pulls out of the guard of Javi Juarez, stands up, feels it out, and drops a huge right hand to the jaw of Javi Juarez. Juarez attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Kong Tian plows through Javi with a driving double leg takedown. Kong pulls out of the guard of Javi, stands up, feels it out, and drops a huge right hand to the jaw of Javi. Juarez attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Javi Juarez attempts a lazy shot, which Kong Tian sprawls, eventually taking Javi Juarez back. Kong tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Juarez tries to stand up but Kong Tian plants him back down with several strikes. The bell signals the end of round 3.
Round 4 Kong Tian snaps back the head of Javi with a stiff jab. The fighters circle each other. Juarez connects with a strong right hook. Javi Juarez gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Kong is working a furious pace on Javi Juarez, intermingling strikes with positional dominance at will. Juarez tries to explode out the backdoor but Tian sinks in both hooks. Juarez tries once more, but Tian secures a bulldog choke. Juarez is forced to tap.
