Round 1 Caco fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing "Little Mac" to the cage. "Little Mac" swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. Meira is working a furious pace inside of the guard of "Little Mac". Barry starts to create some distance with his legs, Meira capitalizes by passing to side control. Caco Meira lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Caco Meira slides his knee across the body of "Little Mac" and takes full mount. Caco Meira punishes "Little Mac" with a series of strikes from the mount. Barry gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 A welt begins to form under McCarthys eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Caco Meira. Caco Meira locks around the waist of McCarthy. He sneaks his foot behind Barry McCarthys and trips him to the floor, taking side control. Barry takes a few knees to the body while under Meiras side control. Barry McCarthy gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. McCarthy tries to stand up but Meira plants him back down with several strikes. Caco Meira is working a furious pace on Barry, intermingling strikes with positional dominance at will. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 McCarthy throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Meira puts McCarthy on the mat giving his back up. Barry tries to explode out the backdoor but Caco Meira sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Barry falls flat to protect himself. "Little Mac" starts to wiggle out of back control, Caco Meira lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Caco Meira shoots in for a takedown but the attempt is stuffed by "Little Mac". Caco Meira sneaks a foot behind "Little Macs" leg and takes him to the mat, landing in side control. Caco attempts an armbar, but McCarthy stops the attempt. Caco uses the oppurtunity to take mount. Meira punishes Barry McCarthy with a series of strikes from the mount. Barry McCarthy gets pummeled by the fists of Meira. Barry McCarthy gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it.Round 3 comes to a close.
