Round 1 Brian Dunn lands a stiff jab and inside-leg kick. Patterson lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Brian Dunn. Brian Dunn parries "Peppers" jab and lands a liver shot that buckles "Pepper". "Pepper" rolls to his back with Brian Dunn standing over him. Brian Dunn grabs a foot and kicks at Sammy Pattersons thighs. He then backs off and Patterson stands back up. Dunn circles Sammy Patterson, then lans a push kick that knocks him to the floor. Brian Dunn stands over Patterson, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Patterson cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. "Dun Dun" lays into Sammys thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Sammy Patterson does so. "Dun Dun" weaves through a jab-cross combo but is met with a strong knee. "Dun Dun" fakes a push kick, switching into a roundhouse to the head of Patterson. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Sammy parries a jab but is caught by a strong leg kick. Brian Dunn takes in a well composed combination of quick strikes from Sammy. A jab-hook-uppercut combo has Sammy Patterson stepping back and shaking the cobwebs out. A jab from Brian is blocked and a cross is returned by Sammy Patterson. Sammy Patterson circles "Dun Dun", mixing jabs with body shots. Dunn is sent backwards from a series of punches from Patterson. Patterson lands a hook to the body. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 "Dun Dun" eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Patterson. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Patterson works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Patterson takes the back of Dunn who works for a kimura. Patterson pulls his arm out of the hold and push Dunn away. Patterson connects with a strong right hook. Dunn grabs for a clinch but Patterson grazes him with an uppercut. Dunn staggers back, then surprises Patterson with a powerful superman punch. "Dun Dun" snaps back the head of Patterson with a stiff jab. "Pepper" circles Dunn, landing jabs at will. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
