Round 1 Both fighters begin to exchange Bai catches "Ninja" with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets "Ninja" gather himself. "Ninja" says he is ok and the fight continues. Bai Cheng connects with a series of punches forcing Nelson into a clinch. Kyle works Bai into the cage from the clinch. Kyle presses his head under Chengs chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Kyle Nelson works to Bai Chengs back while standing. Kyle Nelson throws a couple of outside shots until Bai Cheng is able to work his way back to the clinch. "Ninja" takes Bais back standing. Bai isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but "Ninja" lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Bai to release. Bai eats a stiff kick to the face. Cheng connects with a hard jab as Kyle attempts a wide outside hook. Bai throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Nelson is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. After dodging a jab, Kyle Nelson lands a kick to the ribs of Cheng who winces in pain. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 The fighters circle each other. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Kyle lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Bai Cheng throws a solid knee to the jaw of Kyle. Cheng escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Bai Cheng connects with a hard jab as Nelson attempts a wide outside hook. Cheng hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Bai throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Nelson is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. A left high kick from Nelson keeps Bai Cheng at bay. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Nelson lands some solid knees to the legs of Bai from the clinch. Bai Cheng escapes the clinch and creates some distance. After dodging a jab-cross, "Ninja" lands a kick to the liver of Bai who steps back and begins to take a knee. "Ninja" rushes forward to capitalize but Bai stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Nelson throws a hard leg kick but is checked by Cheng. Bai Cheng attempts to press in on "Ninja" but is met with powerful inside-leg kicks. Round 3 is over.
