Round 1 Rafael Rios fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Ngige. Rafael Rios places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. "Resurrection" takes "Runzas" back standing. Rafael Rios isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but "Resurrection" lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Rafael Rios to release. Both fighters begin to exchange Anekwe Ngige catches Rafael Rios with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Rafael Rios gather himself. Rafael Rios says he is ok and the fight continues. Anekwe Ngige throws a push kick. Rafael shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Ngiges nose.
"Resurrection" tries to hyperextend the knee of Rios with a kick to the kneecap. Rios hops back to avoid it. "Resurrection" attempts a takedown but slips, and "Runza" backs away. "Runza" is standing over "Resurrection". "Runza" lays into Anekwe Ngiges thighs with some well timed kicks while Ngige is grounded. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Rafael connects with a jab cross combination. Rios is hit with a jab and then taken down by a beautiful single-leg takedown. Rafael fires elbows off his back to the top of the head of Anekwe. "Runza" locks a kimura and forces "Resurrection" to defend. "Runza" settles for a couple of cross-body chops to Anekwes temple.Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Rios presses forward and grazes Ngige with a combo. Ngige wants none of the stand up and clinches with Rios to then savagely throw him down to the ground. Anekwe Ngige stands over Rios, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Rios is able to grab an arm and pull Anekwe Ngige into his guard. A strong chopping strike hits Anekwe Ngige across the face. Anekwe Ngige lands a series of return strikes. "Resurrection" drops a few strong punches, opening up Rafael Rioss guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. Anekwe Ngige punishes Rafael Rios with a series of strikes from the mount. Rafael gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Giving up his back, Rafael panics and gives up mount instead. Anekwe Ngige secures his position. Round 3 comes to a close.
