Round 1 Francisco connects with a strong body shot combo. A low kick is shin checked by Hayden who retaliates with a superman punch that floors Francisco Pena. Hayden moves back until the ref stands Francisco Pena up. Pena hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Francisco is struck by a ball kick from Mac that causes him to stumble backwards. A spinning back kick leaves "Slinging Meteors" stumbling back and clutching his side. Pena parries a jab but leaves himself open for an uppercut. "Slinging Meteors" shoots in and grabs a single leg. Hayden hops on one leg and defends the takedown. While on one leg, he leaps into the air and lands his apposing knee forcing "Slinging Meteors" to release the attempt. Mac Hayden lands a outside leg kick that causes Francisco Pena to back up. Mac circles Francisco, landing jabs and crosses at will. A lazy leg kick from Francisco Pena is caught by Hayden who lands a huge overhand right, flooring Francisco Pena. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Francisco is rocked by a standing elbow strike. Mac Hayden presses forward landing a couple more strikes, but Francisco survives the onslaught with well timed blocks. Francisco circles to the right. Hayden hits a hard spinning back kick to the body. Francisco Pena is rocked by a standing elbow strike. Mac rushes forward landing a quick succession of leg, body and head kicks sends Francisco Pena back into the cage dizzied. Mac connects with a teep to the face of Francisco Pena. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Pena ducks and weaves through a jab-cross combo but is hit with a nasty uppercut. Hayden throws a teep backing Francisco Pena off. Francisco is showing signs of frustration as Mac moves around the ring like he owns it punishing him with strikes. Hayden blocks a hook cross combo but is pushed backward. Francisco tries to press the action but is met with a hook, uppercut that keeps him at bay. Hayden parries a jab but leaves himself open for a uppercut that sends him to the canvas.Round 3 comes to a close.
