Round 1 Carrillo stuffs a shot from JT Kelly and hits him with an outside body shot. JT Kelly gives up on the takedown and pulls guard. Kelly is pummeled by some well timed bombs from Carrillo. Manolito Carrillo takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in JTs guard. It doesn't pay off as Kelly makes his way to standing. Carrillo dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet. Carrillo hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Carrillo stuffs a shot from Kelly and lands several shots to his body. Kelly attempts to pull guard but Carrillo makes it to side mount. Manolito Carrillo lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Kelly almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment.Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 "Orlando Magic" throws a few strikes allowing him to clinch with his opponent. Manolito dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with JT standing over him. "Orlando Magic" cannot find an opening to pounce. The ref brings Manolito Carrillo back to his feet. "Orlando Magic" hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Manolito. Carrillo eats a strong cross as JT Kelly moves into the clinch. Two short elbows from the clinch put Carrillo off balance. JT Kelly holds him up, landing two more quick elbows. JT Kelly pushes Carrillo into the cage. Carrillo works a whizzer and attempts to turn JT Kelly but JT Kelly illegally grabs the cage for leverage. The referee is not in postition to see it. Carrillo is pulled into a knee that hits his liver. Carrillo falls through the clinch and to all fours. JT leans over him landing outside strikes until Carrillo crumbles to the canvas.
