Round 1
Shi shoots for a single leg but Hugo is able to hop away, defending well. Shi takes the opportunity to execute a difficult double-ankle pick. Round 2
Hugo Ramirez hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Heng Shi connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Hugo Ramirez throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Heng puts Hugo Ramirez on the mat giving his back up. Heng Shi begins to look for a rear naked choke, but Hugo Ramirez rolls to being mounted instead. "The Boa Constrictor" secures his position. Heng denies every transition Hugo Ramirez attempts to get out of mount. Dominating the position with ease Heng does the saturday night ride playing to the crowd. The bell signals the end of round 2.

Round 3
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Hugo Ramirez receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. Hugo Ramirez attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Heng pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. "The Boa Constrictor" dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet. Hugo Ramirez hits an uppercut to the head of "The Boa Constrictor" followed by a hard hook. Heng stands over Hugo, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Hugo is able to grab an arm and pull Heng into his guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
