Round 1 "The Right Way" is sent crashing to the mat by a powerful right hook. Kennedy drops a huge strike to Jiangs chin, landing into his guard. Flowers passes through Jiangs guard into mount. Jiang gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Kennedy Flowers peppers "The Right Way" with several shots to the face. Kennedy Flowers begins to look for a rear naked choke, but Rong Jiang rolls to being mounted instead. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Jiang narrowly dodges a cross from Flowers, but falls catching him in his guard. Kennedy tries to pass guard but "The Right Way" stops him with a well timed punch. "The Right Way" attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Flowers throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Rong Jiang is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Flowers lands a double jab. Kennedy Flowers stuffs a shot from "The Right Way" and lands some powerful outside hammerfists, eventually taking side mount. Round 3 A double-leg shot is stuffed initially by Rong Jiang, but Kennedy is able to muscle through for a takedown. Jiang attempts to create some space from his guard, but Kennedy sees the opening and passes to full mount. Rong gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Jiang starts to wiggle out of back control, Kennedy Flowers lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Flowers sends Rong Jiang to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Rong attempts to create some space from his guard, but Kennedy sees the opening and passes to full mount. Kennedy Flowers telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Rong gives up his back to stop the attempt. Rong Jiang carefully protects himself from Kennedys strikes. Flowers peppers Rong with several shots to the face. The round comes to an end.
