Round 1 Fritz Edwards lands a strong outside leg kick that buckles Griffin. Fritz tries to hyperextend the knee of Ole with a kick to the kneecap. Ole hops back to avoid it. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Ole Griffin weaves through a jab-cross combo but is hit with a nasty hook. A welt begins to form under Ole Griffins eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Fritz. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Ole throws a cross that easily dodged by Fritz. Fritz presses forward, grabbing the plum and lands a strong hook, buckling Ole Griffin to the mat. Fritz follows him into the guard. Edwards pulls out of the guard of Griffin, stands up, feels it out, and drops a huge right hand to the jaw of Griffin. Edwards defends a triangle attempt, throwing Ole Griffins straight leg over his head and makes a move for side control. Ole Griffin is able to hold him to half guard. Fritz drops an elbow onto the forehead of Griffin. Fritz Edwards presses his foot onto the thigh of Griffin to get his own foot free. He successfully releases his leg and moves to side control. Ole gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Ole Griffin starts to wiggle out of back control, Fritz Edwards lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Fritz lands a solid kick to the front leg of Ole. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Griffin receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Edwards. Edwards grabs the plum and pulls Oles face towards a powerful knee which is blocked. Edwards releases the hold and lands an uppercut. Ole Griffin lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Fritz. Griffin is cut open by a standing elbow strike. The ref stops the fight. The doctor take a look at the cut and determines Griffin can continue. Griffin connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. A powerful elbow has Ole Griffin stepping back dazed. Fritz lands an inside leg kick and a cross, then grabs the plum and tosses Ole Griffin to the ground. Edwards dances around Griffins legs and lands a powerful soccer kick to the head. The round comes to an end.
