Round 1 A running flurry from Lawson is countered by a well-timed shovel punch from Craig Collins. Craig Collins follows up with a powerful kick to the midsection. Craig parries Wess jab and connect with a cross. "Chuck Norris" circles away from Wes Lawson, landing strong kicks to the lead leg. Craig parries a right jab and lands a beautiful crescent kick, striking the ribs. Wes Lawson connects with a jab cross combination. After dodging a jab-cross, Collins lands a kick to the liver of Wes Lawson who steps back and begins to take a knee. Collins rushes forward to capitalize but Wes Lawson stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. A wild hook from Wes is ducked by Craig who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Both fighters begin to exchange Craig catches Lawson with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Lawson gather himself. Lawson says he is ok and the fight continues. Craig Collins connects with jab cross combination. Collins chips away at Wes Lawson with a series of kicks to the legs. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Wes eats a stiff kick to the face. Craig gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Collins carefully protects himself from Wess strikes. Collins is able to make it back to the standing position. Craig Collins throws a kick to the midsection of Lawson. Wes keeps Collins at a distance with some well timed jabs. Craig connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head.Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Wes Lawson moves in to press the action, but Collins lands a heavy back kick. Lawson connects with a series of punches forcing Collins into a clinch. Craig Collins absorbs several body shots while being tied up. Wes lands some solid knees to the legs of Craig from the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Craig swims to double underhooks and turns Lawson but Lawson gets double underhooks of his own and rotates Craig right back into the cage. The bell signals the end of round 3.
