Round 1
Both fighters begin to exchange Sal catches Jake with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Jake gather himself. Jake says he is ok and the fight continues. Sal narrowly dodges a cross from Harper, but falls catching him in his guard. Jake Harper opens up the guard and rises back to his feet. Jake Harper lays into Harts thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Hart does so. Sal Hart narrowly dodges a cross from Harper, but falls catching him in his guard. Jake Harper passes through Harts guard into mount. Round 1 is over.

Round 2
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Sal escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Sal throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Jake Harper is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Jake Harper lands a double jab. Sal connects with numerous jabs to the face of Jake. Sal Hart attempts a takedown, but Harper clumsily falls down without much provocation. Sal stands over Harper, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Harper cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. Round 2 is finished.

Round 3
Both fighters begin to exchange Sal catches Harper with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Harper gather himself. Harper says he is ok and the fight continues. Hart throws a few jabs at Jake Harper that miss the mark. Jake Harper throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Sal puts Jake Harper on the mat giving his back up. Giving up his back, Harper panics and gives up mount instead. Jake attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Jake tries to slip out the back, but Sal locks in an inverted triangle choke. Jake taps.
