Round 1 Griffin throws a powerful left hook, but is met with a strong jab from Oscarito. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Griffin drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Oscarito Montenegro sets a guillotine choke but Griffin slips out at the last moment. Griffin is now caught in guard. Oscarito attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Montenegro circles away from Ole, landing strong kicks to the lead leg. Griffin throws a cross that easily dodged by Montenegro. Oscarito dodges a jab and lands a kick to the face of Griffin. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Ole Griffin places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Griffin escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Oscarito winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Ole Griffin hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Montenegro. Both fighters begin to exchange Griffin catches Oscarito with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Oscarito gather himself. Oscarito says he is ok and the fight continues. Ole Griffin attempts a takedown, but Oscarito Montenegro clumsily falls down without much provocation. Ole lays into Oscarito Montenegros thighs with some well timed kicks while Oscarito Montenegro is grounded. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Oscarito Montenegro throws a cross that easily dodged by Griffin. Montenegro takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Ole hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Ole Griffin connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
