Round 1 Pena reaches down and trips Luna with a beautiful ankle pick. Pena dives into his guard. Adrian begins to posture on his side. Gabriel Pena lands a couple of outside hooks and Adrian returns to the guard. Adrian attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Gabriel executes a single leg giving him the back of Luna. Pena tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Luna starts to wiggle out of back control, Gabriel lets him escape putting them both on their feet. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Adrian connects with a hard punch making Gabriel bring him in to a tight clinch. Pena receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Luna. Adrian Luna takes the back of Pena who works for a kimura. Adrian Luna pulls his arm out of the hold and push Pena away. Gabriel Pena connects with a strong body shot combo. Adrian Luna ducks and weaves through a quick combo from Pena and knocks him back with a shovel punch to the jaw. Luna slips a cross from Pena and lands an uppercut to the liver. Adrian Luna parries Gabriels jab and lands a hook that floors Gabriel Pena. Adrian Luna stands over Gabriel Pena, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Gabriel Pena cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Adrian hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Gabriel. Adrian Luna lands a double jab. Gabriel Pena lands a strong outside leg kick but is hit with a strong uppercut. Luna lands a devastating overhand right on Gabriel. Luna shuffles in connecting with punches and finishes off Gabriel with a snapping teep the head.
