Round 1 Soto connects with numerous jabs to the face of "Whats my name again". After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Erick fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with "Whats my name again". Erick Soto drops down and thrusts forward with a textbook double leg takedown. Vernhardur Ingolfsson begins to posture on his side. Soto lands a couple of outside hooks and Vernhardur Ingolfsson returns to the guard. An heel strike attempt is dodged by Erick and he traps "Whats my name agains" extended leg to move to half guard. Erick slips out of half guard and into side control. Vernhardur takes a few knees to the body while under Ericks side control. Soto wraps the arm of Vernhardur behind his back and traps it. Soto pounds away with shots to the face. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 A wild hook from Ingolfsson is ducked by Erick Soto who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Vernhardur Ingolfsson narrowly dodges a cross from Erick Soto, but falls catching him in his guard. "Whats my name again" connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Erick keeps his head down in guard to gather energy. Vernhardur uses the strength of his legs to sweep him over to his back. Vernhardur now has full mount. Soto attempts to buck Vernhardur Ingolfsson off from mount but Vernhardur Ingolfsson keeps his base and maintains position. Vernhardur executes a double hand slap to the ears of Erick Soto. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Soto lands a double jab. Ingolfsson tries to hyperextend the knee of Erick with a kick to the kneecap. Erick hops back to avoid it. Ingolfsson executes a single leg giving him the back of Erick Soto. Erick Soto carefully protects himself from Ingolfssons strikes. Soto slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range.Round 3 comes to a close.
