Round 1 Tyson Rogers grabs for a clinch but Rhodes grazes him with an uppercut. Tyson Rogers staggers back, then surprises Rhodes with a powerful superman punch. A welt begins to form under Gregory Rhodess eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Tyson Rogers. Tyson throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Rhodes is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Tyson Rogers executes a single leg giving him the back of Rhodes. Rogers slides to the side and spanks the butt of Rhodes in a sign of disrespect. The crowd laughs uncontrollably. Giving up his back, Gregory panics and gives up mount instead. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Rogers connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Gregory Rhodes shoots in for a takedown but the attempt is stuffed by Tyson Rogers. Gregory Rhodes sneaks a foot behind Tysons leg and takes him to the mat, landing in side control. Gregory wraps the arm of Tyson Rogers behind his back and traps it. Gregory pounds away with shots to the face. Gregory drops some good elbows to the face of Tyson Rogers forcing him to give up his back. Tyson Rogers tries to stand up but Rhodes plants him back down with several strikes. Gregory lays into Tyson Rogers with some strong shots forcing Tyson Rogers to give up mount position. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Rogers dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet. Rogers shoots in for a double leg, hoists Gregory Rhodes up, and slams him viciously to the mat, taking side control. Gregory takes a few knees to the body while under Tysons side control. Rhodes gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Gregory carefully protects himself from Tyson Rogerss strikes. Rhodes tripods up, causing Tyson to fall forward. As Tyson tries to scramble up Rhodes lands a lunging hook, putting Tyson on the ground. Rhodes stands up and looks to the ref to force Tyson into standing. The ref does not comply.Round 3 comes to a close.
Round 4 Tyson Rogers snaps back the head of Rhodes with a stiff jab. Rogers takes a punch and goes to the mat, Gregory pounces into side control. Rogers recovers quickly. Gregory wraps the arm of Rogers behind his back and traps it. Gregory pounds away with shots to the face. Rogers gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Tyson Rogers starts to wiggle out of back control, Rhodes lets him escape putting them both on their feet. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 5 Rogers gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Rhodes slides off to the side of Tyson Rogers and lands several heavy knees into his ribs. Before he can lose the position, Rhodes switches back to full back control. Rogers slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. Tyson loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by Rhodes for the mistake. Rhodes has side control. Rhodes slides his knee across the body of Rogers and takes full mount. Rhodes punishes Tyson Rogers with a series of strikes from the mount. Gregory Rhodes throws one straight shot after another to the the chin of Rogers. The ref stops it.
