Round 1 Andre tries to hyperextend the knee of Ruedi Reber with a kick to the kneecap. Ruedi Reber hops back to avoid it. Andre Artigas connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Reber. Ruedi Reber lands a hook to the body then a straight cross to the sternum. Andre Artigas is met with a strong kick to the ribs. Andre Artigas moves in to press the action, but Reber lands a heavy back kick. Ruedi rushes forward landing a quick succession of leg, body and head kicks sends Andre Artigas back into the cage dizzied. A running flurry from Artigas is countered by a well-timed shovel punch from Reber. Reber follows up with a powerful kick to the midsection. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 The fighters circle each other. Reber lands a stiff jab and inside-leg kick. A welt begins to form under Andre Artigass eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Ruedi. Reber parries a right jab and lands a beautiful crescent kick, striking the ribs. Andre Artigas is on the receiving end of a good punching combination from Ruedi. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Andre connects with a jab cross combination. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Ruedi Reber works to Artigass back while standing. Ruedi Reber throws a couple of outside shots until Andre Artigas is able to work his way back to the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Reber takes the back of Andre Artigas who works for a kimura. Reber pulls his arm out of the hold and push Andre Artigas away. Andre Artigas begins to clinch with Ruedi, but Ruedi presses out of it burning up quite a bit of energy. Reber connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. A welt begins to form under Andres eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Reber. A powerful elbow has Andre Artigas stepping back dazed. Reber lands an inside leg kick and a cross, then grabs the plum and tosses Andre Artigas to the ground. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
