Round 1 Hade Weaver throws a few jabs at Hayes that miss the mark. Weaver connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Weaver sets a guillotine choke but "Sweet Baby Rays" slips out at the last moment. "Sweet Baby Rays" is now caught in guard. Hade attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Weaver snaps back the head of Claude Hayes with a stiff jab. Round 2 Claude fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Hade Weaver. "Sweet Baby Rays" lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Claude breaks away from the clinch while delivering a knee. Weaver throws a cross that easily dodged by Hayes. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Claude Hayes pushes Hade Weaver into the cage. Hade Weaver works a whizzer and attempts to turn Claude Hayes but Claude Hayes illegally grabs the cage for leverage. The referee is not in postition to see it. Hayes places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Hayes attempts a knee but is taken down by a basic trip. Hade Weaver lands in half guard.Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Hade connects with a strong right hook. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Hade works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Hade Weaver takes Claudes back standing. "Sweet Baby Rays" isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Hade Weaver lands a sharp shovel punch that forces "Sweet Baby Rays" to release. Hade connects with a jab cross combination. "Sweet Baby Rays" dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet.
