Round 1
Jurevicius winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Manolo sends Jurevicius to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Simonas Jurevicius is pummeled by some well timed bombs from Manolo Garcia. Simonas Jurevicius is caught in a can opener and opens his guard. He lands two quick strikes but "El Duque" transitions to half guard. Manolo Garcia is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Simonas gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Simonas Jurevicius starts to wiggle out of back control, Manolo lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Simonas connects with a strong body shot combo. Simonas is met with a cross and a liver shot that staggers him. Manolo explodes with a flurry of punches. Simonas is then thrown to the floor. Round 1 is finished.

Round 2
Simonas Jurevicius connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Manolo connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. "El Duque" dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet. Manolo Garcia throws a few jabs at Simonas that miss the mark. Simonas lands a hook to the body then a straight cross to the sternum. Manolo lands a double jab. Garcia hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. A jab from Garcia is blocked and a cross is returned by Simonas. A jab from Manolo is blocked and a cross is returned by Jurevicius. "El Duque" is backing away forcing Jurevicius to run at him to close the distance. Jurevicius darts into the cage full blast planting his foot into the wiring and jumping off hitting "El Duque" with a fantastic showtime kick that has him crumpled on the mat. Ref waves it off.
