Round 1 Jim Douglas connects with a strong body shot combo. Jim is on the receiving end of a good punching combination from Jay. A wild hook from Jim is ducked by Jay Kim who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 A powerful elbow has "Kumite" stepping back dazed. Jay lands an inside leg kick and a cross, then grabs the plum and tosses "Kumite" to the ground. "Kumite BAE" lays into "Kumites" thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Jim does so. Jim Douglas parries a jab but is hit with a powerful knee to that midsection that drops him to the floor. Jay kicks at the legs of Douglas and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Douglas to stand. "Kumite" attempts a striking combination, but "Kumite BAE" forces the clinch. Douglas receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Kim. Kim gets a trip takedown from clinch and end up in the half guard of Jim Douglas. "Kumite BAE" drops an elbow onto the forehead of Jim Douglas. Kim tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Kim catches a leg kick and fires a hard punch to the head dropping Jim Douglas. Jay Kim hovers over "Kumite" pushing his legs to the side and throwing punches down at his body and head. "Kumite" sends a hard up kick that rocks Jay Kim. "Kumite" stands back up. Jim Douglas is hit with a jab then hook to the body and stumbles backward. Kim explodes forward with a push kick that puts Jim Douglas on the canvas. Jay grabs a foot and kicks at Jim Douglass thighs. He then backs off and Jim stands back up. "Kumite" attempts a striking combination, but "Kumite BAE" forces the clinch. Jay works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Jim attempts a knee but is taken down by a basic trip. Jay Kim lands in half guard. "Kumite BAE" tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Jim Douglas positions himself back into full guard.Round 3 comes to a close.
