Paulius is able to block well and circles away from Simon Chandler, delivering a chopping leg kick and a grazing cross as he does so. Chandler lands multiple inside leg kicks that have Paulius Dirgela circling away. Paulius Dirgela is on the receiving end of a good punching combination from Chandler. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Simon Chandler parries Pauliuss jab and connect with a cross that floors Paulius. Round 1 is finished.

Paulius takes Simon Chandlers back standing. Simon Chandler isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Paulius lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Simon Chandler to release. Chandler throws a cross that easily dodged by Dirgela. The fighters circle each other. A low kick is shin checked by Dirgela who retaliates with a superman punch that floors Simon. Dirgela moves back until the ref stands Simon up. Paulius Dirgela connects with a right that puts Simon Chandler off balance tumbling to the mat, as Paulius Dirgela towers over him. Paulius dances around Simons legs and throws a hard kick to the body. The round comes to an end.
