Round 1 Pedro lands multiple inside leg kicks that have Adrian circling away. A left high kick from Pedro Franca keeps Adrian Sanders at bay. Sanders attempts a striking combination, but Franca forces the clinch. Pedro Franca breaks away from the clinch while delivering a knee. Franca is hit with a hook and a shovel punch and stumbles backward. Adrian Sanders tries to press the action but is met with a push kick from Franca that puts him on the floor. Pedro Franca attempts to drop a fist on Adrian Sanders, but misses and lands in his guard. Two heavy strikes from Franca dazes Sanders. Franca crawls over to side mount. Adrian Sanders takes a few knees to the body while under Francas side control. Pedro postures up and with a knee to belly of Sanders and begins to rain down punches. Sanders dodges a few but eventually cannot defend himself and the ref steps in.
