Alex parries Misael Gutierrezs jab and connect with a cross. Gutierrez attempts to press in on Alex Potter but is met with powerful inside-leg kicks. Alex Potter connects with a brutal kick to the liver of Misael who falls to the ground. Alex Potter waves him back to his feet. Potter performs and axe kick but Misael Gutierrez catches the leg as it comes down. Misael Gutierrez drives forward taking Potter down to the ground. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 A wild hook from Misael is ducked by Alex Potter who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Round 4 Gutierrez lands a double jab. Gutierrez connects with a hard punch making Alex Potter bring him in to a tight clinch. Alex Potter drops down and thrusts forward with a textbook double leg takedown. Misael attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Potter hits an uppercut to the head of Gutierrez followed by a hard hook. Potter connects with a teep to the face of Gutierrez. Potter winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Round 4 is over.
Round 5 Potter pushes away from Misael and lands a strong chopping kick to the lead leg. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Alex works to Misaels back while standing. Alex throws a couple of outside shots until Misael is able to work his way back to the clinch. Misael Gutierrez receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Alex. Gutierrez escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Alex tries to hyperextend the knee of Misael Gutierrez with a kick to the kneecap. Misael Gutierrez hops back to avoid it. A left high kick from Potter keeps Gutierrez at bay. Alex lands multiple inside leg kicks that have Misael circling away. Alex Potter hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Gutierrez. The bell signals the end of round 5.
