Round 1
The fighters circle each other. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "Mr Decision " takes Ambrosios Barbass back standing. "Mr Decision " lands a couple of uppercuts from behind. Barbas is able to work his way back around. In the clinch Duane wraps his arm around the back of the head of "Fruit Salad" and hip tosses him over to his back with a Koshi Guruma throw. Duane takes side control. Duane Reed delivers knees to the body and sharp forearms to the head forcing Ambrosios Barbas to turn over. Duane Reed takes the back. Duane lays into Ambrosios Barbas with some strong shots forcing Ambrosios Barbas to give up mount position. Round 1 comes to a close.

Round 2
Duane hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Ambrosios eats a strong cross as Duane moves into the clinch. Reed places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. From the clinch, "Mr Decision " hurls Ambrosios Barbas over his hips dropping him hard to the mat. "Mr Decision " is able to get into half guard. "Fruit Salad" holds the head of Reed close to avoid shots. Reed slams shots to his opponents ribs and throws hard elbows to the thighs. Ambrosios Barbas tries to scramble out of half guard, but Duane takes his back during it. Round 2 is over.

Round 3
Reed throws a few jabs at Ambrosios that miss the mark. Barbas connects with a strong body shot combo. Duane hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Reed connects with a series of punches forcing Barbas into a clinch. Ambrosios Barbas receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Duane Reed. Duane Reed works to Ambrosioss back while standing. Duane Reed throws a couple of outside shots until "Fruit Salad" is able to work his way back to the clinch. Reed keeps Ambrosios off balance and uses a large outer wheel trip to take side control. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
