Round 1
Rodriquez throws a cross that easily dodged by Azmera. Azmera Balcha connects with a hard punch making Jimmy bring him in to a tight clinch. Jimmy drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Balcha sets a guillotine choke but Jimmy slips out at the last moment. Jimmy is now caught in guard. Azmera backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Azmera Balcha is cornered by Jimmy who tries to press the action. Azmera Balcha is able to block well and circles away from Jimmy, delivering a chopping leg kick and a grazing cross as he does so. Balcha lands a solid kick to the front leg of Rodriquez. Jimmy connects with a strong body shot combo. Round 1 comes to a close.

Round 2
Jimmy Rodriquez tries to hyperextend the knee of Azmera with a kick to the kneecap. Azmera hops back to avoid it. The fighters circle each other. Jimmy is staggered by a jab to the chin. Rodriquez throws a teep backing Azmera off. A series of unanswered punches from Rodriquez forces the ref to stop the action.
