Round 1 "Old evil eye" takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Medina hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Owen connects with a strong body shot combo. "Old evil eye" arm drags Ryan into a double leg takedown, getting half guard.Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Ryan snaps back the head of "Old evil eye" with a stiff jab. Ryan hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Owen. Owen Myers hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Owen Myers is staggered by a jab to the chin. Medina lands a double jab. Both fighters move in to strike but miss their marks. As they jockey for position in the clinch Owen Myers wins the momentum battle and falls into side control on top of Medina. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Owen feints a takedown attempt and connects with a left hook dropping Ryan Medina. Owen dives into guard. Ryan is hit with a series of powerful punches while utilizing the guard. Owen Myers takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Medinas guard. It doesn't pay off as Ryan makes his way to standing. Ryan Medina parries Myerss jab and connect with a cross. Owen parries Medinas jab and connect with a cross. Myers wraps around Ryan Medinas waist, and drags him to his back, taking side control Medina almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. Ryan gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. The round comes to an end.
