Round 1 Roman Davis lands a lunging, looping hook to Ians temple. Roman fires a haymaker but misses spinning himself around. Ian Wilson quickly takes his back. Davis carefully protects himself from Ian Wilsons strikes. Davis is able to make it back to the standing position. Roman connects with a strong right hook. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. A trip to the ground allows Roman Davis to move into the guard of Ian.Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Ian blocks a tight hook from Davis and counters with a shovel punch and cross that has Davis stumbling backwards. Ian stalks him across the canvas. Roman clinches with Wilson and lands multiple piston shots and short uppercuts to soften up Wilson for a trip takedown, landing Roman is half guard. Roman Davis presses his foot onto the thigh of Wilson to get his own foot free. He successfully releases his leg and moves to side control. Wilson gives his back in an attempt to get out of side control. As Davis spins around to take it, Wilson makes his way back to his feet. Roman connects with a right that puts Ian Wilson off balance tumbling to the mat, as Roman towers over him. Roman lays into Ian with some stomps. Ian can't handle it as the ref stops the fight.
