Round 1 A trip to the ground allows Roko to move into the guard of Nicolai Kharlamov. Kharlamov gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Kharlamov dives in on a leg but "Octane" defends well forcing Kharlamov to get back to his feet into a clinch. Kharlamov drops down and thrusts forward with a textbook double leg takedown. Kharlamov snatches a leg and wrenches back for an ankle lock. Kovac defends well so the lock changes to a heel hook. Kharlamov rotates into a very tight knee bar but Kovac wiggles out to his feet. Nicolai slides in and grabs a leg lock taking "Octane" to the ground. Nicolai works for a reverse heel hook but cannot finish. A scramble insues and "Octane" takes Nicolai Kharlamovs guard. Nicolai eats a stiff punch to the face, and is then switched, giving Kovac full mount. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Kharlamov tries to hyperextend the knee of Kovac with a kick to the kneecap. Kovac hops back to avoid it. Both fighters begin to exchange Nicolai Kharlamov catches Kovac with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Kovac gather himself. Kovac says he is ok and the fight continues. Kharlamov clinches with Roko Kovac and lands multiple piston shots and short uppercuts to soften up Roko Kovac for a trip takedown, landing Kharlamov is half guard. Roko Kovac is able to work a leg through from the bottom to attain full guard. Roko dodges some ground strikes from Nicolai, and sends a few back of his own. Nicolai pushes down "Octanes" leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Roko Kovac is able to work a leg through from the bottom to attain full guard. Round 3 is finished.
Round 4 Nicolai Kharlamov tries to hyperextend the knee of Roko Kovac with a kick to the kneecap. Roko Kovac hops back to avoid it. Nicolai snatches a leg and gets a tight grip around the achilles tendon. Nicolai wrenches back on the ankle of "Octane" but slips out. Nicolai quickly gets back into the guard of his opponent. Nicolai Kharlamov pushes down Rokos leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Kharlamov slips out of half guard and into side control. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
