Round 1 Greg narrowly dodges a cross from Kerry Davis, but falls catching him in his guard. Cook connects with several chop shots from the bottom. Greg Cook attempts to lock an omoplata, but Davis is able to muscle his way back to the guard. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Kerry Davis is hit with two hard punches to his face. Kerry Davis laughs off the punches. A trip to the ground allows Davis to move into the guard of Greg Cook. Greg Cook sinks a deep kimura, but Davis slides out. This gives Greg Cook the chance to switch to half guard. Greg goes to deep half guard and rocks forward then backward hitting a sweep on Kerry Davis and ending up in side control. A knee to belly allows Davis to twist from his back, pulling Cook off balance. Davis then switches him to guard and stands up. Davis allows Cook to stand. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 The fighters circle each other. A welt begins to form under Kerrys eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Greg Cook. Greg Cook ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Davis to the mat, and his back. Kerry carefully protects himself from "Contortrixs" strikes. Kerry starts to wiggle out of back control, Greg Cook lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Cook connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Greg Cook throws a kick to the midsection that is caught by Davis. Davis lands a sweeping leg kick that puts Greg Cook on his back. The round comes to an end.
