Round 1 Shin connects with a strong right hook. Shin Heo sends Steve to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Steve Potter attempts an armbar. Heo time a spin perfectly landing a strong overhand as he works his way into Steves guard. Heo defends a triangle attempt, throwing "Grande Empandas" straight leg over his head and makes a move for side control. "Grande Empanda" is able to hold him to half guard. "Grande Empanda" holds the head of Heo close to avoid shots. Heo slams shots to his opponents ribs and throws hard elbows to the thighs. Heo tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Heo presses his foot onto the thigh of Steve Potter to get his own foot free. He successfully releases his leg and moves to side control. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Shin Heo connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Heo dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet. "Grande Empanda" throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Shin puts "Grande Empanda" on the mat giving his back up. Shin lands a series of heavy punches forcing Steve Potter to roll to his back, giving Shin mount. Heo punishes Potter with a series of strikes from the mount. Potter bucks off Shin and sweeps him over taking side control. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Shin hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Shin connects with jab cross combination. Heo ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Steve Potter to the mat, and his back. Shin Heo lays into "Grande Empanda" with some strong shots forcing "Grande Empanda" to give up mount position. "Grande Empanda" shifts his head and hips to keep Heo off balance and unable to land strikes. Potter bucks Shin off and sweeps him over getting into his half guard. The round comes to an end.
