Round 1 "7" hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Abe Cooper connects with a hard right hand putting Goro Takayama on the mat. Abe Cooper goes down with him into side control. Goro Takayama takes a few knees to the body while under "7s" side control. Abe Cooper delivers knees to the body and sharp forearms to the head forcing Goro Takayama to turn over. Abe Cooper takes the back. Abe slides to the side and spanks the butt of Goro Takayama in a sign of disrespect. The crowd laughs uncontrollably. Goro Takayama starts to wiggle out of back control, Cooper lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Takayama reaches down and trips Cooper with a beautiful ankle pick. Takayama dives into his guard. A couple of hard outside strikes opens up Abe Coopers guard and Goro Takayama is able to move to half guard. Takayama hits "7" with some punches to the side of the head. Abe defends short shots well by turning his head. Takayama attempts to get a leg free and successfully moves into dominant side control. Takayama lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Cooper taps out from a hammmerlock.
