Round 1 David throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. "10" is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Both fighters begin to exchange David catches "10" with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets "10" gather himself. "10" says he is ok and the fight continues. Salvador San Juan throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from David puts Salvador San Juan on the mat giving his back up. "10" eats a few stiff shots from David Jodoin, and rolls giving mount to stop the ref from ending the fight. David Jodoin maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Salvador San Juan kicks off a leg and finds space off to the side and wraps around the body of Jodoin getting his back. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Jodoin presses forward and is able to jump up and grab onto San Juan, aggressively pulling guard. Salvador San Juan strikes to the body of Jodoin from in guard, opening Jodoin up for a headshot which bruises his brow. David gets his arm underneath the neck of Salvador while putting his opposite arm on the back of the head. David applies pressure forcing Salvador to tumble over giving David mount. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Salvador San Juan connects with a strong body shot combo. Jodoin connects with a series of punches forcing "10" into a clinch. David takes "10s" back standing. David lands a couple of uppercuts from behind. San Juan is able to work his way back around. David decides to abandon the clinch by pulling guard and bringing Salvador San Juan with him. Two large hammerfists forces David to attempt to shift away from Salvador which give Salvador the opportunity to move to half guard. David positions himself back into full guard. Jodoin gets his arm underneath the neck of San Juan while putting his opposite arm on the back of the head. San Juan powers out of the attempted choke. David works to the butterfly guard. Salvador San Juan tries to throw a punch but is off balance and David shoots up to a standing position. San Juan throws a hard jab but Jodoin throws a cross right over the top rocking San Juan. Jodoin attempts a takedown but slips, and San Juan backs away. San Juan is standing over Jodoin. The bell signals the end of round 3.
