Round 1 "North Korea" keeps Doug at a distance with some well timed jabs. Doug Daley winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Nobu connects with a series of punches forcing Doug into a clinch. Doug takes Nobu Iwaharas back standing, but Iwahara isolates an arm and locks a spinning kimura but Doug squirms out and both fighters end up standing. Nobu Iwahara sends Doug to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Doug backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. A trip to the ground allows Doug to move into the guard of Iwahara. Iwahara sets in an omaplata, forcing Doug Daley to roll through, giving Iwahara side control. Iwahara throws his knee into the ribs of Doug Daley. Daley sneaks a leg back under the body of Nobu to achieve a defensive half guard. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Doug Daley catches a leg kick and fires a hard punch to the head dropping Iwahara. Doug Daley attempts to drop a fist on Iwahara, but misses and lands in his guard. Doug attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Nobu slips out of it at the last moment. Doug Daley frees a leg and moves into half guard. Iwahara dives down and grabs the foot of Doug. Iwahara reaches his other arm over his thigh and sneaks it under his foot clasping to his other arm achieving a painful toe hold. Doug gator rolls out of it back to their feet. "North Korea" is staggered by a jab to the chin. A couple of powerful body shots forces Nobu Iwahara back to the cage. Daley swims to double underhooks. Nobu Iwahara cannot stop Daley from stepping back and taking him to the floor. An arm-triangle attempt forces Nobu Iwahara to open his guard. Doug hops over "North Koreas" leg to side mount but cannot finish the choke. Doug Daley delivers knees to the body and sharp forearms to the head forcing Iwahara to turn over. Doug Daley takes the back. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Doug Daley hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Nobu winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. "North Korea" hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Daley snaps back the head of "North Korea" with a stiff jab. Nobu Iwahara takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Daley throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Iwahara is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. The round comes to an end.
