Round 1 Shoji Baba connects with a jab cross combination. Browne connects with a jab cross combination. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Baba drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Flash Browne sets a guillotine choke but Baba slips out at the last moment. Baba is now caught in guard. Flash backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Flash hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Shoji. Flash Browne unleashes a flurry of punches on Shoji Baba. Flash connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Flash Browne circles Baba, landing jabs and crosses at will. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Flash Browne lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Flash escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Flash parries Shoji Babas jab and connect with a cross. Shoji connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Shoji Baba throws a hard jab but Flash throws a cross right over the top rocking Shoji Baba. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Flash Browne connects with numerous jabs to the face of Shoji Baba. Shoji Baba shoots in on Browne but cannot finish the takedown. Browne lands a couple of knees to the head, forcing Shoji Baba to roll to his guard. Flash pulls out of the guard of Shoji, stands up, feels it out, and drops a huge right hand to the jaw of Shoji. Browne pushes down Shoji Babas leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Flash Browne is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Baba gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Baba starts to wiggle out of back control, Flash Browne lets him escape putting them both on their feet. A wild hook from Baba is ducked by Browne who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Baba takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Round 3 is over.
