Round 1 Gen connects with a hard punch making Ony Krylov bring him in to a tight clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Krylov attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Gen Dung pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. A trip to the ground allows "The One And Only" to move into the guard of Dung. "The One And Only" is pulled close and is hit with a couple of strong heel strikes to the back. Gen locks a triangle but Ony Krylov defends well. Gen decides to let go of the hold. Gen keeps his head down in the chest of Krylov to avoid any submission attempts. Gen leans up and lands some short punches before lowering back down. Gen moves to half guard then is able to grab a butterfly guard, eventually working to standing. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Krylov attempts to press in but Dung uses a inside reaping to put Krylov on the canvas. Dung hops to side control. Gen slides his knee across the body of "The One And Only" and takes full mount. Gen Dung punishes Ony with a series of strikes from the mount. "The One And Only" gives his back up trying to escape the mount. "Costa Rica" peppers "The One And Only" with several shots to the face. With both hooks in and Ony face down Dung peppers him with short shots to the head. Ony turns to defend while kicking a leg out to get to half guard. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Ony fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Gen Dung. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Dung attempts to grab the plum but Ony takes the opportunity to grab him by the waist and slam him to the floor, taking side control. "Costa Rica" is able to get back to full guard. An heel strike attempt is dodged by Krylov and he traps "Costa Ricas" extended leg to move to half guard. "The One And Only" is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Dung pulls his leg out from under Ony and gets back to half guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
