Round 1
A sloppy scooping ankle block is pulled of by Badilla. Sigmund is able to pull him into his guard. Badilla forces Sigmunds leg down, giving him the chance to pass into side control. Bierle gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Fredy Badilla works his arm around the neck of Sigmund attempting to get a tight rear naked choke but Sigmund hand fights well. Sigmund spins through into the guard of Fredy Badilla. Round 1 is over.

Round 2
Bierle throws a hard jab but Fredy Badilla throws a cross right over the top rocking Bierle. Sigmund hits an uppercut to the head of Fredy followed by a hard hook. Badilla slides in for a leg lock but Sigmund Bierle is too strong and cant be taken down. Sigmund Bierle bends over and lands some tough shots to the face of Badilla, eventually falling into half guard. Bierle is able to work a leg through from the bottom to attain full guard. Sigmund begins to posture on his side. "The Finger" lands a couple of outside hooks and Sigmund returns to the guard. Badilla pushes down Sigmunds leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Sigmund is able to work a leg through from the bottom to attain full guard. The round comes to an end.

Round 3
Fredy connects with a jab cross combination. A double-leg shot is stuffed initially by Fredy Badilla, but Sigmund is able to muscle through for a takedown. Sigmund attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Fredy Badilla slips out of it at the last moment. Badilla is caught off guard by a kneebar attempt from Sigmund Bierle. Badilla struggles out of the lock and attempts to scramble. Sigmund Bierle is too quick and lunges forward to take half guard. Fredy holds the head of Sigmund Bierle close to avoid shots. Sigmund Bierle slams shots to his opponents ribs and throws hard elbows to the thighs. Sigmund presses his foot onto the thigh of Fredy Badilla to get his own foot free. He successfully releases his leg and moves to side control. Badilla gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Fredy Badilla starts to wiggle out of back control, Bierle lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Sigmund Bierle loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by "The Finger" for the mistake. "The Finger" has side control. Round 3 is finished.
