Round 1 Takumi is hit with a jab and then taken down by a beautiful single-leg takedown. Holden knocks the wind out of Takumi with a strong elbow strike to the abdomen. Holden takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Hidas guard. It doesn't pay off as "Belarus" makes his way to standing. Keith Holden takes a punch to the jaw. He drops his hands and asks "Belarus" to hit him harder. Keith Holden hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Takumi Hida. Keith Holden shoots in for a takedown but the attempt is stuffed by Takumi. Keith Holden sneaks a foot behind Takumis leg and takes him to the mat, landing in side control. Holden drops some hammer fists on Takumi. A series of strong hammerfists forces "Belarus" to roll over, giving up his back. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 "Belarus" fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Holden to the cage. Holden swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. Takumi Hida tries to pass guard but Keith stops him with a well timed punch. Takumi Hida sits up in Keiths open guard and spins to an leg lock. Keith Holden is able to gator-roll out of it and make it to standing. Takumi throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Keith is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. "Canuck" connects with a hard jab as Takumi Hida attempts a wide outside hook. Takumi connects with a hard right hand putting "Canuck" on the mat. Takumi goes down with him into side control. Takumi throws his knee into the ribs of "Canuck". Keith is hit with a heavy knee to the liver and tries to scramble out of side control. Takumi scrambles well and takes Keiths back. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 "Belarus" connects with a series of punches forcing Keith into a clinch. Takumi gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. Takumi takes "Canucks" back standing. Keith isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Takumi lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Keith to release. Holden hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Hida connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. "Canuck" connects with a hard jab as Takumi attempts a wide outside hook. A welt begins to form under Holdens eye after a strong cross-hook landed from "Belarus". "Canuck" is hit with two hard punches to his face. "Canuck" laughs off the punches. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
