Round 1 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Alofipo executes a an impressive greco-roman takedown from the clinch, putting him in guard. Pele Alofipo drops some elbows from guard, giving him a brief moment to switch over to side control. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Alesio hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. A trip to the ground allows Pele Alofipo to move into the guard of Luca. Alofipo sits up and fakes a double axehandle to the face, instead striking the body. Luca Alesio pulls Alofipo close while he regains his breath. Alesio attempts to lock in an armbar from the guard. Pele Alofipo narrowly avoids it, but allows for Alesio to take mount. Alofipo attempts to buck Luca Alesio off from mount but Luca Alesio keeps his base and maintains position. Luca Alesio has mount. He uses a cross face on Pele and falls into an armbar. Pele locks his hands together and attempts to turn into the lock. Luca Alesio transitions to a triangle choke. Pele taps.
