Round 1 Miranda takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. A wild hook from Miranda is ducked by Weaver who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Weaver throws a few jabs at Ernesto that miss the mark. Weaver parries Ernestos jab and connect with a cross. Hade Weaver ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Miranda to the mat, and his back. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Ernesto throws a cross that easily dodged by Weaver. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Hade Weaver receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. Ernesto receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Weaver. Ernesto Miranda takes the back of Hade who works for a kimura. Ernesto Miranda pulls his arm out of the hold and push Hade away. Weaver pushes away from Miranda and lands a strong chopping kick to the lead leg. After dodging a jab-cross, Hade Weaver lands a kick to the liver of Ernesto Miranda who steps back and begins to take a knee. Hade Weaver rushes forward to capitalize but Ernesto Miranda stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Miranda is pressed into the cage by Hade. He is able to switch Hade into the cage and land a couple of looping hooks before backing away. Hade Weaver clinches with Ernesto and pulls guard but Ernesto gets in his half guard on the way down. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Ernesto lands a strong outside leg kick and follows it up with a jab-cross combo. Ernesto circles Weaver, keeping him at bay with quick strikes. Ernesto Miranda pushes away from Hade Weaver and lands a strong chopping kick to the lead leg. Hade is cut open by a standing elbow strike. The ref stops the fight. The doctor take a look at the cut and determines Hade can continue. Ernesto Miranda circles Weaver, keeping him at bay with quick strikes. Round 3 comes to a close.
