Round 1 Kenta Imai connects with a strong right hook. Imai connects with a hard punch making Tngg bring him in to a tight clinch. Chen connects with a stiff knee to the chin. Imai is dazed on the mat. Chen kicks at the legs of Kenta Imai and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Kenta Imai to stand. Tngg tries to hyperextend the knee of Imai with a kick to the kneecap. Imai hops back to avoid it. Kenta fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Chen. Chen works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Kenta Imai uses his under and overhook to hit a solid body toss takedown. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Tngg tries to stop a shot with a punch but Kenta plows through Chen Tnggs attempt and ends up in guard. Kenta frees a leg and moves into half guard. Kenta tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Imai presses his foot onto the thigh of Chen to get his own foot free. He successfully releases his leg and moves to side control. Chen Tngg almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. Kenta Imai throws a knee into Chen Tnggs ribs. Chen tries to scramble to escape any more punishment but gives up his back in the process. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Kenta Imai hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Kenta circles Chen, landing jabs and crosses at will. Tngg throws a push kick. Imai shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Tnggs nose.
Chen Tngg takes a punch and goes to the mat, Kenta pounces into side control. Chen Tngg recovers quickly. Round 3 comes to a close.
