Round 1 A welt begins to form under "Christ Superstars" eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Hunter. Jesus Aguilar throws a hard jab but Beaton throws a cross right over the top rocking Jesus Aguilar. Beaton hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Hunter Beaton fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with "Christ Superstar". Hunter pushes Jesus Aguilar into the cage. Jesus Aguilar works a whizzer and attempts to turn Hunter but Hunter illegally grabs the cage for leverage. The referee is not in postition to see it. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Beaton continues to maintain the clinch, creating space often for strong elbows. Aguilar drops for a shot, but Beaton counters with a shattering knee to the chin. Aguilar is out like a light.
