Round 1 The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Tadashi keeps "The Saad Saad Man" at a distance with some well timed jabs. Saad ducks a punch and snatches a tight Muay Thai clinch delivering a ruthless knee to the chest followed by a slicing uppercut across the head of Tadashi. Tadashi Akimoto throws a few jabs at Saad Nejem that miss the mark. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Saad throws a push kick. Tadashi Akimoto shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Saads nose.
The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Tadashi presses forward and is able to jump up and grab onto Saad, aggressively pulling guard. Saad Nejem is pulled close and is hit with a couple of strong heel strikes to the back. Tadashi works to the butterfly guard. Saad tries to throw a punch but is off balance and Tadashi shoots up to a standing position. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 "The Saad Saad Man" takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Akimoto throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Nejem is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Saad connects with a hard jab as Tadashi attempts a wide outside hook. Akimoto connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Akimoto presses forward and is able to jump up and grab onto Saad Nejem, aggressively pulling guard. Nejem tries to move to half guard but Tadashi uses the opportunity to land several strikes and return to full guard. Tadashi Akimoto slides out from bottom grasping the back of Saad allowing him to get back control. The round comes to an end.
